6/7/08 Smith Mtn Lake tournament results!
In 1st place was the team of yours truly, Jeff Rollins & Dante Villa of Star City Bassmasters with a nice 8 fish limit weighing 20.96 lbs.
In second place was the team of Basil Riley & Aaron Brown of Twin State Bassmasters with another nice 8 fish limit weighing 17.40 lbs.
In 3rd place was the ever present team of Mike Tilley & Brad Alderman of Peak Creek Bassmasters with another limit weighing 17.34 lbs.
Conditions were tough in this tournament with only 6 limits weighed in and the heat being extremely high, not that the fish minded it much! I heard several reports it reached 102 degrees!
The tournament standings and the 2008 final results are posted on the standings page. For those of you that made the top ten teams, and those of you right after the top ten, please contact Neil Hunwick ASAP via his cell phone or e-mail and let him know if you will be able to fish the Fall Classic. The top 10 teams all get a free entry in to the tournament. The top 5 teams also get $200.00 spending money. Teams 6 thru 10 will get $100.00 spending money. The Fall Classic will be held on the Potomac River on October 25th and 26th, 2008.
Guys, we would like to say thank you to all of you that participated this season. We are only as good as the effort we put into this. Please take a moment when you can to thank all of the people that have volunteered their efforts to make this a successful and fun season for all of us. We are always looking for anyone willing to contribute their efforts and talents into making this program one of the best in the state!

All tournaments will start on schedule, weather permitting. We recommend you allow ample time for registration, boat check & launching your boat. Preregistration is usually the night before the tournament after 6:00 PM. You must be present at the tournament headquarters to register or you can register at the launch ramp the morning of the tournament.
