6/12/09 Congratulations to the top finishing teams at the Claytor Lake tournamant. In 1st place was the team of Mark & Ted Cox of Triangle Bassmasters with an 8 fish limit weighing 15.98 lbs. In 2nd place was the team of Mike Tilley & Brad Alderman of Peak Creek Bassmasters with an 8 fish limit of fish weighing 13.22 lbs. In 3rd place was the team of Gary Jones & Wally Dryman of Peak Creak Bassmasters with an 8 fish limit weighing 12,64 lbs. These were the only 3 teams that had an 8 limit and for the most part the fish were running small. As usual, Claytor was tough as nails but the home boys came through! Congratulations are in order for all.
Neil has asked that the top ten teams contact him right away and let him know if you intend to fish the Fall Classic this year. He also needs to know what boat and motor you will be using. Please contact him as soon as possible. We usually have a couple of the top teams that don't go, so if you are in the top 15 teams, it's probably a good idea to contact Neil and let him know if you can go or not.

All tournaments will start on schedule, weather permitting. We recommend you allow ample time for registration, boat check & launching your boat. Preregistration is usually the night before the tournament after 6:00 PM. You must be present at the tournament headquarters to register or you can register at the launch ramp the morning of the tournament.
