Welcome to the Region 4 Chaplain's Corner! Our desire is to provide assistance to any member of the Region 4 Bass Federation that may feel the need to speak with someone about issues in their life.
At times life is cruel to say the least. For many of us the problems of life are more difficult than for others. It may come a time that we need to vent or have someone to pray with. "I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me." Philippians 4:13 Through Christ we all can deal with the problems that life keeps dropping on us. I remember a tournament I fished once and did not have a fish. For that matter I don't remember too many bites. When I arrived at the weigh in I found out that I was just about the only one without fish. Now that's a real bummer! I began to lose faith in my ability as a fisherman, I even thought about quitting. But something inside of me, I guess passion, brought me back. Christ has that same passion for us. He wants us to succeed; He wants us to enjoy the wonder of this world that He has made. Yes, He made Bass too! On those disappointing fishing trips remember who made all the scenery that you enjoyed that day. Remember to give thanks for all that He has done for you.
Let's face it, if you made it home without a trip to the hospital for a hook removal, it was a good day!
If you or someone you know needs someone to speak to. Don't hesitate to call me. Any and all conversations are strictly confidential.

3/16/06 Letter from Pastor Jimmy Rorrer Soon our first tourney will be here! Are you ready? Have you been to all of the bait shops in hopes of finding that secret lure? Of course you have! You and just about everyone else too. When we get ready for a tourny we check and recheck everything to make sure we have not forgotten anything. The last thing we want is to get to the ramp, all ready to go, and find that our rods are still at home. Sounds funny but it really happens more than you know. I just pray that none of us get to the Throne and find that we have forgotten to be prepared! Sad to say but most folks prepare more for a tournament than the hereafter! Are you prepared? If not; please begin to get ready. God doesn't want any of us to be lost and neither do I.
If you need someone to talk to or pray with, I'm just a phone call away!
